Georgia Staples

Georgia Staples is a paralegal at Tobener Ravenscroft. 

Georgia received a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, where she majored in Printmaking.  After prevailing in small claims against her landlord who failed to provide hot water, illegally increased the rent, and threatened to evict, she was inspired to go back to school.  She completed a Certificate of Paralegal Studies at Merritt College in Oakland, graduating with honors. 

Georgia previously worked in a plaintiff-side personal injury law firm before transitioning to helping wronged and injured tenants. 

She is passionate about helping people understand their rights while guiding them through the legal process with patience and empathy.  In her free time, she enjoys camping, knitting, explaining the cultural oddities of her home state of Rhode Island to anyone who will listen, and running a small wine-making business with her husband.
