Rachel Cranna

Rachel Cranna is an Associate Attorney at Tobener Ravenscroft. She graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, and in 2024 received her Juris Doctor from UC Law SF (formerly UC Hastings). During law school, Ms. Cranna externed for the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the San Francisco Superior Court’s Complex Litigation Department. She worked as a Corporate Counsel extern for TaskRabbit, as a research assistant for Professor Radhika Rao, and studied abroad at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg. Ms. Cranna received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award, a Best Brief Award for Legal Writing and Research II, and was a finalist in the David E. Snodgrass Intramural Moot Court Competition.

Ms. Cranna grew up in Fairfax, California, and moved to New Orleans in her twenties, where she worked at a free writing center at Delgado Community College. She has been a renter for over ten years and is excited to begin her legal career as a tenants’ rights attorney at Tobener Ravenscroft.
