Allyson Murphy

Allyson Murphy is a Principal at Tobener Ravenscroft. Ms. Murphy completed her undergraduate education at the University of California, Santa Cruz, majoring in political science. Ms. Murphy went on to earn her law degree from Golden Gate University in 2005, graduating at the top of her class. Ms. Murphy has more than fourteen years of litigation experience, including nine years advocating on behalf of plaintiffs. She has significant experience litigating cases involving complex construction issues (including wrongful capital improvement evictions), habitability defects, and other breaches of contract claims, fraud, property damage, and personal injury.

Ms. Murphy has represented tenants in Rent Board hearings, buyouts, and pre-litigation dispute resolution. During her career, Ms. Murphy has counseled more than a thousand tenants and volunteers at the Berkeley Tenants Union.
